January 11th, 2022 – Purpose
People are always wanting to know their purpose for LIFE. They seek out “prophets” to give them “a word” to give them direction. But, what if we sought God for ourselves and allowed His Holy Spirit to give us His direction? We often want a Road to Damascus experience so we can fall off our horse and step into this great calling. But most often God will speak to you in the still quiet voice. And often He will just give us the first step because if we knew the “Big Purpose “, that so many seek to know, we would run the other way. Be confident that He knows the end from the beginning of all things. So this month try things a little differently. Ask Him to show you His purpose for just these 21 days of fasting and begin to take the first step toward that purpose.
Righteousness
Ephesians 2:10 (ESV ) “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Faith
John 15:5 (ESV) I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
Action
Galatians 3:26 (ESV) For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.
Declaration
“I declare that my purpose on Earth is to be the light, pointing all mankind to the good news of Jesus Christ. I am born of God! All that I do is in alignment with God’s call for my life.”
