January 22, 2022 – LEGACY
What do you want to be remembered by? Not just how you will one day be eulogized but what do you leave as a deposit in the lives of people you come in contact with. In other words, what are you leaving as a legacy to your family, friends, coworkers etc. Do people know of your walk with God? Take time this week and consider what will be the legacy or deposit you will leave in others lives. Be deliberate in consciously thinking what do you want to “leave to others”!
Righteousness
Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Faith
1 Corinthians 15:10 (NLT) But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.
Action
Matthew 5:14-16 (NKJV) “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
BOLD DECLARATION:
I declare I am saved to serve. I have an undying passion for God’s Work. I make eternal investments through my service to God and His Kingdom.
