January 27, 2022 – Education of Children and Youth
When we think of education we frequently think of education in the formal setting. However, education starts and is most important in the home. God, in His design of the scriptures, built in devices for the education of children. The book of Psalms is set up as an acrostic for teaching everyone on how to praise God. The best education we can pursue and are commanded to teach our children is the revelation God has given us about His Creation (Romans 1:20), His Son (2 Peter 3:18) and His Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17). As we learn more about God, our love and devotion to Him increases and so does our love for one and another
Righteousness
Proverbs 22:6 (ESV) Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Isaiah 54:13 (NIV) All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace.
Faith
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Action
James 1:5 (NIV) If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you
Bold Declaration:
I declare that all children will be armed with the Word of God and will know that they are equipped to evangelize the world with the Gospel. I decree a spirit of excellence over our children and youth and declare that this year will be their year of supernatural success in academics, in Jesus Name.
