Our History
From a Farmhouse Gathering to a Global Ministry
Victory Christian Fellowship of New Castle, Delaware—now one of the fastest-growing churches on the East Coast—began in 1984 in the farmhouse of Founding Pastors Gary and Faye Whetstone in Hockessin, Delaware Their very first service included their two children and three guests, with Pastor Gary preaching on “Righteousness” and Pastor Faye leading worship on the autoharp.
As word spread about the healings, miracles, and life-changing teachings taking place, the church began to grow rapidly. Victory soon moved from the farmhouse to an Elks Lodge—where members would clear away bingo chips and beer bottles before each service—and later to the old Krebs School in Newport, Delaware.
At the Krebs location, the ministry flourished, adding a full worship team, youth and children’s ministries, a Bible School, and dedicated staff. As the congregation continued to expand, God led Victory to its current home at 100 Wilton Boulevard—a former automotive training facility that was beautifully transformed into a vibrant church campus.
Today, Victory Christian Fellowship continues to thrive and minister from this location—impacting lives, equipping believers, and sharing the message of faith and victory throughout Delaware and beyond.

Our Vision
At Victory Christian Fellowship, every ministry flows from one united vision—to build lives centered on:
Our Ministry Focus
Equipping Believers Through God’s Word and Power
Victory Christian Fellowship is built on the life of Jesus Christ living through His people, with prayer, revelation, and faith-filled teaching as the foundation.
Since 1986, Pastors Gary and Faye Whetstone have led the School of Biblical Studies, an international Bible training program with branches in hundreds of nations—equipping believers for ministry and everyday life through practical, Spirit-led teaching.
At Victory, lives are transformed through healing, deliverance, restoration, and revelation of God’s Word. The ministry also stands as a powerful testimony of marriage restoration, inspired by the miraculous reunion of Pastors Gary and Faye after their 1975 divorce and remarriage in 1976—a living witness of God’s redemptive power and grace.
You’re invited to experience Victory Christian Fellowship—a place where God is changing lives, meeting needs, and revealing His glory every day. Whether you’re joining us in person in Delaware or connecting online, you’ll find a community ready to welcome you home.
