Text: Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Introduction: My spirit has been deeply stirred and enlightened to establish every month in 2025 with “Wisdom and Actions that produce God’s Results”.

January’s focus is “Next New Steps.” Every step will be miraculous when we act on His Word!

Speak new words, step out in a new vision, break out of old patterns, possess the next new thing that God has for you!

• Starting today we begin 21 days of “Fasting and prayer consecrating this year”

• Tomorrow begins with Early Morning Prayer on zoom with Pastor Jacquelyne

• Enroll in The School of Biblical Studies

• Join Victory and participate in all the ministries

• Start a new ministry in Victory

• Saturday January 11th at 8 am is the “New Beginnings Breakfast”

1. The law of first

Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell

Colossians 1:18 NLT Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So He is first in everything.

Law of firsts: Giving over of the first to God sets the pattern for the rest! The first harvested, the first hour, your first paycheck, the first of a new business endeavor, the first of this year belongs to God! Just as the first conquered city, Jericho, belonged to God!

Joshua 6:18 And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. 19 But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.

Psalm 37:23 (ESV) The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way;

• Your steps are not self-directed!

Jeremiah 10:23 (ESV) I know, O Lord, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

• Don’t impose self-curse by self-reliance!

Jeremiah 17:5 (NKJV) Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. 6 For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. 7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

2. Make money your servant not your master

V9 the heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; who can know it? 10 I, the Lord, search the heart,

I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.

• Money influences your heart

Matthew 6:19 The Complete Jewish Bible “Do not store up for yourselves wealth here on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and burglars break in and steal. 20 Instead, store up for yourselves wealth in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and burglars do not break in or steal. 21 For where your wealth is, there your heart will be also.

• Live through the eyes of giving!

22 ‘The eye is the lamp of the body.’ So if you have a ‘good eye’ [that is, if you are generous] your whole body will be full of light; 23 but if you have an ‘evil eye’ [if you are stingy] your whole body will be full of darkness. If, then, the light in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No one can be slave to two masters; for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to both God

• Take New Creation Steps

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away;

behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

• Be assured, step out in faith!

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. 9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

STEP OUT!

• Take that step of faith!

Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

• Your next steps delivers your inheritance!

Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Declare:

– I am God’s New Creation in Jesus’ Name!

– My steps are ordered by the Lord!

– I step out in Jesus’ Name receiving my inheritance!

– I mandate, “Money you are my servant not my master in Jesus’ Name!”

– My life is new every day in every way in Jesus’ Name!

– Mind, be renewed and receive His new thoughts in Jesus’ Name!

– Body, be strong, be healed, be bold in Jesus’ Name!

LIFT UP YOUR VOICE AND SHOUT!!!!!!

Worship God with your First-Fruit and your Tithes.

Ezekiel 48:14 And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for it is holy unto the Lord.

• God had respect to the first-fruit of Abel’s sacrifice!

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

Genesis 4:1 Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, “I have acquired a man from the Lord.” 2 Then she bore again, this time his brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. 3 And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. 4 Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, 5 but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. 6 So the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” 8 Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.
